Playoffs Update

The National League Championship is going to be very good and very close. Both the Phillies and the Dodgers dispatched their competitors in the first round without much of a struggle. It could go either way but I'm going to have to go with the Dodgers in 7. Manny Ramirez has proven to be a huge addition for them. I think this might be 1988 all over again. Maybe Gibson will come out of retirement for another limp-off game winner.

I see you wisely decided not to mention the Angels. Best record in the league and it looks like they'll exit during the first round. At least they won one game against the Red Sox and salvaged a little dignity. Fackin' Bahstan queeahs.

The Angels-Sox series isn't over yet. I know it doesn't look good but I'm not giving up on them yet. If the Angels can just win tonight (Game 4) the momentum and home field advantage swings in their favor. The Angels have been playing fine, they've just been making a lot of bad plays, and Boston doesn't look all that sharp either.
